My Awards

The American Society of Indexers presented the H. W. Wilson Award for Indexing Excellence to me in 1998 for the index I wrote to Michael Mello's Dead Wrong: A Death Row Lawyer Speaks Out Against Capital Punishment (University of Wisconsin, 1997).

In 2004, the Wisconsin Library Association awarded me the Muriel Fuller Award for an electronic index I created to local history materials in Hedberg Public Library’s collection (Janesville, Wisconsin).

I served on the American Society of Indexers’ Wilson Award Committee from 2001-2003, and have given talks and workshops on Library-Created Indexes and on Quality Indexing.
